Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert to perform at 'Redneck Extravaganza' in Syracuse

Live Nation has added a 24th night of music to the Lakeview Amphitheater's 2018 concert season.
Kid Rock will bring his "Red Blooded Rock N Roll Redneck Extravaganza" tour to the Syracuse concert venue on Friday, Sept. 14. Country stars Brantley Gilbert and Wheeler Walker Jr. will open the show at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets go on sale next Friday, April 13 at 10 a.m. through LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster.com, the Box Office at Oncenter or Charge By Phone at 1-800-745-3000. Prices range from $39.50 to $129.50, plus fees; a limited number of special early bird lawn tickets will be available for $29.50 each.
Kid Rock, whose real name is Bob Ritchie, released his 11th album last year. He's known for his mix of rock, country and rap on hits like "Bawitdaba," "Cowboy" and "All Summer Long."
Gilbert is similarly known for raucous party anthems like "Bottoms Up," "Small Town Throwdown" and "Kick It In the Sticks." He also co-wrote Jason Aldean's hit singles "My Kinda Party" and "Dirt Road Anthem."
It's the latest show booked at the Syracuse amphitheater, which has recently been officially renamed the St. Joseph's Health Amphitheater at Lakeview. Other artists booked for the venue's third full season include Dave Matthews Band, Zac Brown Band, Weezer, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Luke Bryan and the 2-night K-Rockathon.
Kid Rock and Gilbert's "Redneck Extravaganza" tour will also stop at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) in Saratoga Springs on Saturday, Sept. 15.
